We proudly support the following charities and organisations:
BrothersNBooks is a non-profit organisation founded by Australian Army veteran Dylan Conway, aimed at promoting literacy and personal development through reading. After experiencing a life-changing injury during military service, Dylan found solace and growth in books, inspiring him to create this initiative.
BrothersNBooks connects veterans and the wider community through the shared experience of reading, offering a platform for book recommendations, reviews, and discussions. The organisation hosts events, challenges, and collaborations to encourage reading and personal growth, with a focus on mental health and resilience. Their mission is to foster a supportive community that values continuous learning and self-improvement.
Wandering Warriors is a veteran charity founded by Queensland-based SAS veterans in 2013. The organisation provides support to Special Forces veterans and their families through education, employment, mentoring, and respite programs.
They also organise flagship fundraising events to unite the veteran community and collaborate with specialised service providers for welfare services. Their efforts have raised significant funds for various causes, continuing their mission to empower and assist veterans in transitioning to civilian life.
The Krait Foundation is dedicated to supporting the transition of Australian Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) members and their families from military service to civilian life. Named after the historic WWII vessel, The Krait, the foundation offers an integrated career readiness program that spans two months, including an intensive week-long course.
This program equips participants with the tools they need to navigate new opportunities, develop a sense of purpose, and build fulfilling post-military careers. The foundation also seeks volunteers and donations to continue its mission of empowering these elite veterans.
Salute For Service is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting military veterans and their families. Founded by veterans who understand the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life, the organization provides a range of programs and services focused on education, employment, and community engagement. Salute For Service aims to empower veterans by offering resources for career development, including mentorship programs, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Additionally, they focus on enhancing the well-being of veterans and their families through various initiatives, such as health and wellness programs, financial assistance, and community events. Their mission is to ensure veterans have the tools and support they need to transition successfully to civilian life and thrive in their communities.
The Veteran Games is an Australian-first team competition designed for Australian Veterans to demonstrate their physical resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. With teams of 8 plus 2 reserves, this military-style event offers current and former serving personnel the chance to test their unique skills through challenges like the Obstacle Course Challenge and Team Tug-of-War, as well as surprise events that mirror activities from military service or combat.
